Verdant Summer - Evergreen

In the “Verdant Summer” series I wanted to capture the feeling of that peak of Spring plant growth, just at the point the Summer is beginning. A week earlier and the plants wouldn’t be as lush. A week later, some plants would have begun wilting and turning brown. I began with stock photos of lush green vegetation. Then I created a series of images in Artmatic that had the lines and the green, gold, and red colors that I hoped would mesh well with the photos. In Photoshop, I combined the two sets of images and tweaked their union until I had four images I was happy with.
